Two Down... Three To Go

Our small group is expecting 5 new additions in 2008 so we had a shower for the third new mom this year, Julie. Chelsea, Robby, it's a good thing you got out when you did! There's gotta be something in our water.

Meet the first two new additions of 2008, Camden and Braden)

.. and their dads Jesse and Tony.

and the original rugrats, Emma and Shania

Who will be awesome babysitters. Shania's already figured out how to feed all the new babies!

We also had a diaper changing party during the baby shower.

Meeting the Myers

Camden finally met the entire Myers family. After meeting Mark and the girls at the hospitol, it was finally time to meet Jonathan. (Welcome back, Jonathan)

At first Jonathan was a little leery of holding Camden, so he just hung out with Cad. You wouldn't think a little baby could scare a man who just came back from the army, but Mom talked him into it. Good job, Lynn!

1st Beach Trip

It was such a beautiful day today, we had to take a walk. So what if parking was $10 dollars for an hour!?!

Back In The Game!

I should wash my electronics more often! ...that way I get to update my stuff every year. Got my new phone in the mail today, and we bought a new camera! YAY... stay tuned for more pics.

Remember how I was bragging about my little angel and how good a sleeper she was? Well, I must have spoken too soon. Poor thing wouldn't stop crying last night. Tony says it's gas, but I'm convinced she's suffering from the Good-Year Blimp syndrome (overfeeding). Could I be drowning her in the very milk she's cries for at night?

Or is Tony right... just gas? Like father, like daughter I suppose.

Magnificent Milestones

I guess when you're only two-and-a-half weeks old, everything you experience is a milestone. Camden celebrated her one-week birthday with a visit to the Dr.'s, a shopping trip to Nordstrom and Target, and a homecooked Christmas dinner from Grandpa Mark. The experience must have been extremely tiring, as she spent the whole time asleep :) But she was at it again the next day, partying it up at Chili's with the Crumbey's!

We found out our little girl is quite the porker on her two-week birthday. After a quick visit to the Dr's again, because mom is paranoid and thought her little baby had diarrhea, we learned that not only were her watery-yellow bowel movements completely normal, but also that the girl's put on 1 1/2 lbs in two weeks! She's now 8 lbs 2 oz and has completely outgrown the clothes she was wearing a week ago!

Also on her two-week birthday, our little baby lifted her head off Daddy's chest mid-cuddle. Sometimes Mom has the same reaction when she get a whiff of that B.O.!

We'd post pictures... but mom's adjusting to motherhood and housework. In doing so, she's managed to not only wash several loads of laundry, but her cell phone and camera as well. Stay tuned for more pics (as soon as we salvage them from the laundered camera). And if you're not getting your calls returned, don't be offended. Mom's just not getting them.

What do you get when you put a new mom and housework together?

There are so many photos that need to be posted in this particular blog, but bright new mommy over here accidentally threw the camera into the washing machine... needless to say, all of you who came to visit and meet Camden need to come again for another photo op, so that you too may be in this blog.
